Jessica Cox

Jessie found yoga in the winter of 2007. After years of intense athletic training, she was seeking to increase her flexibility, range of motion and regain a sense of freedom within her physical body. Little did she know, she had found her life’s passion. Within the first few months, she began to notice a greater sense of peace and mental clarity. The benefits to a consistent yoga practice were unfolding day by day. She developed a profound interest in body alignment and the energetic effects of yoga on the mind/body relationship. Her inspiration came from her amazing teacher, friend, and mentor, Lisa “Asha” Rapp. Lisa introduced Jessie to Jivamukti yoga and she spent the next year training with her beloved teacher and soaking up all she could with the time she had left with her. She is very grateful for all of her teachers along this beautiful journey and hopes to pass the joy and love yoga has created in her life on to others. Jessie’s teaches a strong, intentional, alignment based vinyasa class. Her classes are infused with fun and inspiration…..always encouraging students find their inner light and to develop a greater sense of connection to their body, mind and spirit.
